Our story
In 2011, during a difficult period of crisis, a couple loses their jobs just four hours apart. The husband, after 21 years of work, and the wife, after 19, are faced with unemployment. Despite the challenges, they decide to invest in their own business and spot an opportunity in the hairdressing supplies market. Although unfamiliar with the sector, they participated in intensive seminars and courses, and with hard work and dedication they managed not only to maintain the business, but also to develop its potential.
Over time, Christina Valkana, despite the loss of her husband, managed to keep the business alive. Today, working with her son, Valsak has evolved into one of the most reliable hairdressing supplies companies in Greece. Consumer trust is their strength to continue the work that co-founder and husband, Theodoros Skordakis, who passed away in 2021 at the age of 52, did not get to enjoy.
